PETRONAS Chinese New Year TV Commercial 2011

I accidentally watched this commercial on TV yesterday evening. It really touched my heart deeply.

When we were still babies, our parents could bear whatever hardship to take care of us till we grow up healthily and become useful people. Their sacrifice is by no means confined. They give us everything they have without asking for repayment, just in the hope that we can get comfortable and nice living. What they do is just for their children. Though they've grown old, their love and concern will never cease. They will still concern about us although we have become independent and can take care of ourselves. All their hopes are on us.

They can sacrifice their whole life to take care and concern about their children. Why can't the children spend some of their time to accompany their parents, who used to spend most of their life time taking care of the children?

Their parents are burdens and irritating? Don't you think that babies are the worst irritating burdens since they cannot talk and express their feeling, yet their parents still have to work like hell to take care of the babies, who just keep crying?

This clip gives a great lesson to us. Take good care and be filial to our parents. The children will eventually become parents and will feel what their parents used to feel before. This is actually a recycle.

I have missed a chance to take care of my late grandparent, who led a hard life till their last day in this world. I am regretful but this has already been a fact. What I can do is to take the clip as a reminder and a lesson and cherish everyone surrounding me, especially my mum, who has taken great pains to raise me.

Happy Chinese New Year 2011~~~ =)

Crazy Night in Q Box

After posting the first introductory post, I wish to share my exciting and memorable story that happened yesterday night, which I declared it as "Crazy Night in Q box(Teluk Intan)".

At 6.45 pm, my Sungai Besar friends(Stella Ng, Evon Cheor, Stephanie Heng, Christine Chan and Verdian Chia) and I went to Teluk Intan for karaeoke in Q box. We went there by Stella's little dark brown Proton Wira, with a total 6 people sitting inside the car. How packed but harmonious indeed, ha!ha!ha!

In fact, that trip had multi-purposes.

Firstly, we were going for gathering and to have some fun. Secondly, we wished to have an earlier celebration of Chinese New Year(CNY) together with the friends. Thirdly and also the most important purpose among all, we wished to celebrate our 21st birthday earlier together with the friends, whom we might not be able to meet again after CNY. That trip really meant a lot to us, ha!ha!ha!

However, we were shocked when we reached Q box, where we saw that the door was locked with a thick chain. Meanwhile, the happiness and excitements we had, along the journey from Sungai Besar to Teluk Intan, completely vanished...

"Hey, there is a notice on the door!" We got down the car and approached the door to read the notice. Whew~ it was closed at 6 pm and would open again at 10 pm. After that, we went to have our dinner and take our birthday cake, before we started our crazy night in Q box.

Pictures always paint a thousand words. I will display some pictures to show what we did during the crazy night.

Hello, 2011!!!

It has been long since my last post on April, 2010. Welcome to my whole new blog world in 2011!

Starting from July last year, I started my new life as an undergraduate in UNIVERSITI MALAYSIA PERLIS, best known for UniMAP. Therefore, in this year, I may share a lot of stories and experiences of mine in my university.

Why I use "may", which means "probably"? It is simply because the line in my university is very slow till I am frustrated to wait for the slow loading and posting... This is why I did not publish any new post in my blog though I have already become an undergraduate since July in 2010. Lately, I am also busy with my heavy load of assignments, lab reports, etc. These are the barriers that hinder me from updating my blog.

Ok, I think this is it for my first post and my first greeting in Vincent's blog of 2011. I will try my very best to post my stories about my life as an undergraduate although there are some huge obstacles in front of me. See you in my next blog~
