Wow! So many people wished me happy birthday! This was what I talked to myself when I was Facebook-ing at home after a long day of teaching at the school on Friday. To be honest, it was the first time that I got so many wishes from my friends and it was the most in my life so far! Thank to Facebook. So, this is the power of technology.
At night, I was asked by my three female friends to go to Free Style to have tea together. When I reached the top of the building and walked towards the round table they were sitting, I saw there were two little cute cakes being served on a table, and a candle was weakly lit due to the breeze. They wanted to celebrate birthday for me! It was touching! They also gave me a little beautifully-wrapped gift. Then, we had a nice moment there by chatting and joking.
At around 1 am, we went back. Once I reached home, I opened the gift, it was a pen, namely Parker. I believed it must be costly. There were also some messages attached on the gift. They were the wishes from my friends. I was slightly moved and happy, because they really appreciate our friendship even though we only know each other for 4 years. Of course, I also appreciate the friendship with theirs!
Friendship forever! And although it is late, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!! ^^
Life is a learning process. Any encounters along the path make ponder the meaning of life – hopefully make me a happy soul who lives my life to the fullest.
